i7 8700k Cooler

Hi guys,

I am looking to purchase a good cooler for a i7 8700k while i actually wait for it to come into stock.

I have these two i am considering.

Fractal Design Celsius S36 Liquid CPU Cooler

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB 360mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler

If anyone could advice me if these products are good enough to cool my i7 8700k or maybe suggest a better one, i would appreciate the feed back

That depends on the fans If you get good RGB fans with good static pressure then yes, you would maintain the effectiveness. TBH I don't think the Fractal fans are anything to write home about, but they do the job

But yeah, I would try and avoid Thermaltake. I am not saying it just because Tom can't stand them it's more that they make shoddy products quality wise.

140mm fans don't fit on that cooler. You're gonna need to get 120mm fans. I think corsair makes 120mm RGB fans too.

Just checked the corsair website for you, and they actually make static pressure-optimized RGB fans nowadays, which is ideal for radiators. PC Case Gear has them too. I'm sure these'll be more than sufficient
