Do you have some of the buttons setup as modifiers before I got voice attack and 1 of the hcs voice packs, I used the thumb hat as modifiers basically giving 5 functions to most buttons

The only thing I'd recommend is an external powered USB hub as they do draw a tiny bit more power than even a mobo can handle and often give ghost presses but then anything outside of a standard xbox/PS controller I would recommend a powered hub.
I use a powered hub for mine and my dad uses one for my old X55.

The issue with the internals is the wires being to tight, so over time the usage causes them to snap and then you have to get some prototyping wire, to replace it with as it's extremely thin wire that is used and very short.

The only thing I have had to do with mine is on the stick, the bottom where the spring pushes down, I had to put some vaseline on it because it was squeaking.

When I get back in to it, when I can get my hotas back in place, I am also going to get my voice attack working properly but it's gonna take a while.

For Elite dangerous the Warthog is terrible. However if you play other Flight sims, you would be crazy to return it as it is vastly superior to the X56.

ED just needs so many bindings... failing that, I have eliminated nearly all my bindings now that I have Voiceattack with HCS.However X56 would still win since Warthog lacks the Z axis rudder twist.

To be honest, the only change I've done I'd applying the vertical thrusters to the lever on the back of the thruster so I can land it without my keyboard

I don't think I'll change anything until I get a new HOTAS so I don't need to get un-used to one control set and get used to another if that makes sense. I've been thinking of getting the Razer Orbweaver for the keyboard stuff as well. I'm not a big fan of Razer as you all know but no one else makes them

On the voice packs, I'm disappointed with them. I saw Archer and rather hoped I'd have H.Jon Benjamin booming out my speakers

haha yeah but now I can't get Bobs burgers out of my head when I hear him and it ruins the comedy.

That was all rectified with the new X56 apparently so shouldn't happen again, Touch wood
