Thank god! At least you have the option now, both have their uses and I'm sure, they'll be damn good cards.

cant wait to see the 680s benched on the new beta driver, should move them over the scores the 670 is getting xD

sieb i think the pcb size (or lack of) shows where the cards should be in the line up, and a 2nd tier card this was not designed to be and 2nd tier prices i will not be paying for it either.

i bet they could make a profit on these if they sold them from £150, never mind the £300 they are looking like being.

looking at the pcb size and power cables its the pcb from the 670s, maybe these will be 660s in single slot?

I am not knowledgeable enough to tell. Galaxy is an expert on single slot graphics cards, so this model does not surprise me much.

That silver one is the single slot 680 they are supposedly working on, that pic and a couple have been around for a while. Don't know if the black one is the 680 as well but considering how small the PCB is on the 670s a single slot version seems possible.

3D Mark 11 scores here of 2 670's in SLI from a guy over at OCN. He has a Gigabyte 670 OC edition with the 680 PCB, and a friend of his has one too. Also, it seems that a single non-reference 670 can potentially beat a stock 680 in 3D Mark 11, but both are very close. You can see the thread here, at first it looked like the Gigabyte 670 was quicker than the stock 680, but later on it turns out the 680 is quicker, but only by a super tiny margin. However, the Gigabyte 670 OC'd to the max can pretty much keep up with a reference 680 with a near max OC.

(There's a lot to read through on that thread btw, but its all very interesting)

Here is another crazy 670, you can remove and configure the fans. So you could take two out and just use the one if you wanted.

That inno3d card wouldn't look too bad if it was all black and had a black PCB. The blue PCB is disgusting, but i like the configurable fans idea. Does that mean you could remove the stock ones and add quieter fans or LED's etc... if you wanted? Sweet idea me thinks
