Philips reveal their new 349X7FJEW 3440x1440 21:9 100Hz FreeSync display

Philips have clarified the specifications of their new 349X7FJEW 3440x1440 21:9 FreeSync display, confirming that this display will support refresh rates from 40-100Hz with LFC.

40-100hz?

Not bad at that res. But I am slightly disappointed. I just hope Vega is good enough to stay above 40

Just about the same specs as Samsung's recent ultrawide offering, the CF791. Unfortunately, not a 10-bit, HDR capable monitor. The wait continues...

No monitor is HDR yet. I by that I mean true full scale HDR, not that half-baked in support.

HDR is a pain in the bum. Apart from few games it is complete waste of money. True 10-bit is good to have, but it is still a pain in the bum because nothing supports it, and it is just for a professional work.

This Linus video shows the pain.
