Destiny 2 will feature a built-in FPS counter and support performance monitors

Overlays will remain unsupported.

Not that big of a deal honestly.
I'd just run hardware monitor or something similar in the background and alt tab. I don't understand why people are so upset. I get the fps overlay but now that it's included it's fine. It's not like it will include a built in benchmark so benching it would be difficult anyway

Have your monitor software on another screen.
