And the Audi TTRS is a monster.. But yeah I agree, I wouldn't want to own them as they are just too feminine for my liking. RS6 Avant is more my style
Audi R8 is popular around Oslo. Now that Is a beauty

Think I'd rather have a GTR for that price. More practical

GTR would probably cost the same if not more here.

Everyone has different experiences. I wouldn't berate a white lad who hated black men because a bunch of black men paralysed his father in the crossfire of a drug bust with the police. I know that is an extreme example, but it does happen and similar, less extreme examples happen all the time too. If not dealt with, that pain and anger could easily turn into a deeply entrenched schema that controls that person's future, but ultimately doesn't distinguish them wholly. The new film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri deals with that. It's one of its main themes and handles it very well. Everyone should watch it. It's pure class.

Sarah Silverman was in the news as well recently for how she responded to a troll on Twitter. Instead of doing the typical feminist belittlement and tit for tat, she actually confided in this lad and tried to learn why he called her the 'c' word. She discovered this lad was abused as an 8-year-old by a "man that resembles Kevin Spacey". He talks about being medicated, being poor, etc etc. Instead of denying him the benefit of the doubt, she rallies support for him to pay for his medical care. Silverman saw a potential cause for his anger and didn't categorise him. I see why Dice and anyone else would feel disillusioned and embittered with women (or men) and their seeming lack of morals, but as hard as it is to look past it, it's worth it I think.

And people change too. I think I mentioned I was a Jehovah's Witness a couple of times. Well, back in the 80's there was this dude in, I believe, Russian or Ukraine, I can't remember. Anyway, he was heavily into crime and alcohol and drugs. One time when he was robbing a place, the special forces caught him and he was arrested. A particular officer in charge of the case was questioning him and threatening him, telling him how bad prison was going to be, all this malarkey. The dude was having none of it. He threatened back and said he'd find out where this cop lived and have him killed and his family killed etc. Despite a macho exterior, this cop was frightened.

The dude eventually did time and while in prison he found an Awake magazine (it's a publication by JW's) and found it encouraging. His wife also began studying the Bible with JW's outside of prison and so he began studying while in prison. When he was released he became a Jehovah's Witness.

Also, around this time, that cop also started studying with the Witnesses. He was invited to a little shindig at this house by the local Witnesses, and when he arrived he remembered that it was a house he had searched before as a cop. When he entered the house, this dude was there and was smiling at him. They hugged and cried and are now best mates in the same congregation in whatever Eastern nation they were from.

So women be crazy, but they can stop being crazy (or be less crazy) with the right impetus.

I tell you what it is hard to get over something like that, AGF.

When I was a baby I started going to school with a bit of everything. Asians, Pakistanis, Indians, West Indians, Jamaicans, Blacks etc* (* do note some of them were actual Indians, Jamaicans etc because this was the 70s !). Any way, I had no racist thoughts at all. I was friends with every one at school. Then they teach history and pretty much all of my black friends apart from two learn about slaves and slavery and then all of a sudden they hate white people.

And they continued that way throughout their teens etc. And when I say hate white people I mean hate them like it was all of them who made THEM slaves, not just their ancestors.

I got robbed at knifepoint in Brixton. Ratchet knife to the throat. He nearly cut my throat. Seriously I had a red mark for hours. Robbed my gold, took my cash. I was about 11 at the time, IIRC. What made it worse was we had my mate's baby brother with us who was about 8. They put a knife to him, too.

I tried so freakin hard not to hate them, but it was "Give as you get" then. Thankfully in my late 20s I met the best black man ever to live and I'm OK now. Though TBH? sometimes I do get the odd racist thought, especially when they are kicking off over practically nothing. You can't hate white people, slag them off and expect nothing in return. IE - "Cracker" and all that stuff. You need to accept white people as much as they need to accept you IMO. You can't have it both ways, treating people like crap and expecting to be treated differently.

Any way, thankfully Colin and I had about the best mate relationship you could have. We didn't give a f**k. We would constantly tell each other racist jokes and call each other the forbidden names and etc. And that was what I loved about him so much. Some one that could see that it's all just a big joke. Another part of the joke was when it was my turn to offer him coffee. "I want it without any milk don't you dare call it black !".

I have black family members now. They are about to move down here, which tbh ? isn't the smartest idea they ever had. I don't know if any one told them but this ain't like London. There are barely any black people here at all and when there are they stick out because of it. Mind you, no one says any bad about my family lol.

But yeah, there are two sides to every coin. And knife marks take a very, VERY long time to heal.

It wouldn't even be so bad but during my teens a black guy I grew up with since first school was exiled by his black friends for hanging around with a white guy (girls were ok /roll eyes) Any way, we accepted him as one of ours and he would tell me about his mugging days. Only mug white kids, don't go after the ones that look crazy..

See what I mean? I had to grow up with all of that. It's a lot better down in London now, but I must say I worry about my cousin's husbands down here.

I would like to see some of these black people who make such a fuss about semi/sort of/a tiny bit racist comments promoting the opposite side of the coin, though. IE - if you want white people to accept you then you must accept them. It will be a few generations until that happens though, IMO. I can't blame some of them, they take crap all of the time, but I am beginning to feel that sometimes it's me on the other end of it and that ain't right either.

I think the thing I hate most about any one, thing or whatever is hypocrisy. You could be pink, blue brown or yellow and I would still hate you for that

What gets me about the whole slavery thing is that white people were the last to get involved and the first to stop and outlaw it, The arab world still MASSIVELY practices slavery of Africans and NO ONE says a damn thing, White people were also enslaved during the 1600's by north African muslim pirates, They would scour the coastal towns of England and Ireland and kidnap thousands of people over the years, Sell them and then later cromwell shipped off hundreds of thousands of irish to the west indies and the americas over the years, I can trace my family tree directly to montserrat where I have distant relatives that are a mix of european and african and have a thick irish accent.

Hell, White people are literally destroying their culture and countries, At an alarming rate, For "multiCULTuralism" yet whites are still the baddies.

Insanity.

Yeah White people get a bad wrap because"we have it easy". It's not like we've gone to war over slavery or protecting other races/ethinic/religious groups.
I mean white people have enslaved less. Japan was terrible to the Chinese. Middle East is chaos with new powers occurring everyday with civil war, Africa was the first to start enslaving and do it the most, etc etc.

All in all it's the white man's fault and usually the point of argument is because of America enslavement as the catalyst for massive influx of slave trading (at least that's my experience).

Idk. Every skin color or religious and ethnic group has done terrible things. Why we need to point and blame is beyond me. The whole purpose of knowing each other's downfalls from the past is so we can strive to be better and not do the terrible things again. Instead we have people who just moan and moan...
