4 Transformers and 2 chokes. 2 Sowter UA21 push-pull output transformers, 2, Primary windings 410-0-410V/3.15-0-3.15V/5-0V mains transformers and 2 VVT 10H 180mA chokes.

I've been planning to build a pair of custom monoblock valve power amplifiers in the spring. I've been trying to get around to building my own power amps for the last 8 years. Using a really old Mullard push pull design from the mid 50's called a 5-20. (5 valves, 20 watts) That might not sound that powerful today but having measured how much peak power I actually use from my current solid state power amp, it's plenty. (around 5 watts for loud)

Currently it's still in the design phase and is looking like this.

and a basic 3d render of the chassis design.

Once all the bits arrive, I may start a project thread on it. I've got a few weeks wait as the transformers are made to order.

Good move on that UPS Dice! People fail to realize how valuable those things are, especially in places with flaky old wiring.

Got some new toys recently myself:

Optimus signature water block for AM4, with black mounting plate, nickel plating. Feels like serious hardware:

Micro fins are micro:

The thermal paste in the first pic is Kingpin KPx (never tried it before, heard great things). RAM is G.Skill TridentZ Neo 16GB x 2, the good 3600 CL16/16/16/36 stuff.
Guts: ThreadRipper 2950X / GB Aorus Xtreme X399 / 64GB TridentZ Royal 3600CL16 / Zotac GTX 1080Ti x2 / EVGA 1000W PSU
Storage: 6TB RAID0 NVME array (ADATA SX8200 Pro 2TB x 3)
Water Cooling: HeatKiller TR4-Pro CPU block / HeatKiller IV GPU blocks / 360mm Darskide LP360 rads x 3 / Heatkiller reservoir

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, but just got to it Friday.

Yeah, I know I bought a Bose one last month... That is going to be my center channel speaker, this is going to be the rears. I have a 5.1 pre amp that I am making mostly wireless so I don't have to run cables. You connect the output of the amp to this.

Then at the other end connect the receiver to the sound bar, hey presto rear speaker surround. I'm doing it like this because sound bars are cheap (that one especially so, £49) and that one requires no extra mounting hardware you just slot it onto screws on the wall.
