Vpn for a US account and pay for that? At least you'll get more content (assuming anyway)

Tried with one VPN, but netflix recognised im using "a vpn" and blocked all titles. Its fine though, I rarely use it anyway. Not worth the hassle. That is for attempting to view different libraries. Didn't try to subscribe for a lower cost though.

Yeah, VPN's often don't work with Netflix.

Using a VPN is technically piracy but I could imagine the outrage cracking down on it would have.

I mean you'd still be paying for it. It's more of removing the ridiculous geographic laws the media has in place. Almost as dumb as mucic copyright laws with DMCA.

Some VPNs work with Netflix, so just gotta find the right one. Lost constantly changes as they ban servers and VPNs add new ones.

You'd be paying for VPN in the same way you're paying you're paying for your hard drives and broadband. Not a penny is going towards content creators.

Of course that depends on Netflix's model on distributing their subscription income, but they certainly aren't paying international licenses. Your Netflix GB sub is probably just as irrelevant for Netflix US as your Spotify sub is.

You don't understand. You pay for netflix regardless of whether or not you use a VPN to access it. They still get their pennies.

Well last I heard EU regulations were looking into geographical blocking and were hoping to block it.

Something I know that the Steam team cried foul about. The news died out though.

Also I did a test. VPN works with netflix when the source country is recognised as the same as your location. The moment you try to use a different country it gets blocked.
