To just answer your question in basic terms. Yes I notice a different.

But its not always clear cut, some games will see your fps dive to the 60s and so on.
If we are talking about low fidelity games like CS GO to see consistency, you will see and feel a difference for sure. I really miss the days of 144hz. I currently have a 100hz monitor, but its not the native resolution. Its a 60hz overclocked, and boy do I hate it.

In all honesty I wouldn't worry about 144Hz, Your eyes will get used to 100Hz after a few hours, I'd rather have a good IPS panel with good colours at 100Hz than a VA panel at 144Hz.

And preferably 100hz native
