4 ssds in raid 0 or is it just a head ache

i am thinking of buying 4 cosair neutron gtx 480gb to attach to my rampage 4 extreme just so that i can have epic read and write speeds for the photo editing I do. I was wondering whether it was going to be a nightmare or if it would be epic

Waste of time IMO. Not sure what software you use to edit photos and what sizes you are working with, but I'd imagine you would see little to no difference between 1 SSD and 4 SSDs in RAID 0. Benches will be quite different for sure, but you will gain nothing in real world performance.

The rampage 4 extreme only has 2 sata 3 ports (only two on the intel controller) so you could only use 2 ssds in raid 0,
I agree that it won't be worth the money
