Yup, this is important.
I well OTT with mine - got a Logitech G903 and an ASUS ROG Claymore. They are easily the best mouse and keyboard I have owned but they were not cheap.
I second a Logitech mouse though as I believe even the more affordable ones are brilliant.
Can also so I had a Corsair K70 which was excellent.......right up until one mof my cats puked one it
