hi guyyyys,

serious inputtttttttttttttttttt lag on winnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndows 8.1pro

Edit:

sorry for the first post but that is what happens with my temp pc on Windows 8.1 pro 64bit. Bad Keyboard lag.

when i press a letter, nothing happens or the letter repeats more than i have pressed it. When press space once, it does 15 of them. When i try to delete one or two letters of a incorrect sspelt word, one whole word or whole sentence deletes.

Temp pc is a HP 800 G1 Ultra Slim pc

keyboard is a ducky shine 3 YOS

running a Samsung evo 500GB SSD

^I'm pretty sure he meant temporary PC. This issue does not seem related to temperature problems.

Can you try a different keyboard, or this keyboard on another PC, just to rule that out?

Right right. Well see if you can uninstall the drivers for the keyboard through device manager and then restart the pc

unistalling the keyboard drivers didnt work.

The temp pc is brand new, only few days old.

The keyboard ive had for just over a year and it has worked flawlessly. i dont have another key board but tried this on my dad's old computer and it worked fine.

Everything is smooth, the apps, the windows menu's and even the corsair m65 mouse is fine.

Try to change the repeat rate on the keyboard and check if it helps.

  1. Open Keyboard by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then clicking Keyboard.
  2. Under Character repeat, move the Repeat rate slider to the left to make keyboard characters repeat more slowly, or to the right to make them repeat faster.

Tried this but it did not work. Just to make sure, i installed win 7 again on the same computer to rule the OS out and the keyboard did not like it still.

i rebuilt my old rig and installed Win 8.1 on it, Keyboard worked like a charm so i guess there was something on the temp rig causing it lag as it wouldn't work on windows 7 either.

Found a generic dell keyboard and it worked fine on both win 7 and 8

Its a strange one

Just a guess , but you should update your keyboard driver , maybe check the manufacture's website for updated drivers.
