I'd say that the OEMs wanted RGB on the reference...

I'd say that the OEMs wanted RGB on the reference PCBs & Nvidia added it. They would have locked it out on the Founders cards because Green is part of the branding.

It's a big win for AMD's platforms as well....

It's a big win for AMD's platforms as well. Radeon graphics RX/Pro & Freesync will be in 90% of new PCs. This should make it worthwhile for developers/manufactures to work with/use the platforms.

It seems to be Polaris 11=R9 470/mobile, Polaris 10=R9 480/x, Vega 10=R9 490/x Vega 11=Fury2/x.

There should be some AM4 Motherboards announced at this event too. Hopefully we will see some PCIE...
