My 6800XT gets around 35-40fps maxxed with RT at 1440p so with these new effects and optimisations if it's the same performance i'd still be happy tbh.

Thou i have to admit my Ryzen 1700 as much...

Your only need the one X16 slot, the m.2 shouldn't be effected, but some boards take away 1 sata port when you use the m.2, guess it depends on the mobo you get really, if the network card needs X16...

I'd say get at least a 27" with decent framerate then look into something like a 5700XT would be a decent card and not overly priced or wait for the 6700 cards or get lucky on a 3000 series, i think...

Personally being on the red team these days DLSS doesn't even seem needed for me, all the games i play run fine at 1440p even...
