It's getting there on price. Anyone know if the games can be resold in whatever format they come in? That's at least another £50 off if you can. Amazing that the RTX series has made even Vega prices...

I've read that the 2700X was also on a stock cooler, something which can affect performance with modern CPUs that tend to boost/overclock themselves out of the box based on temperature headroom.

I...

I saw the high CPU requirements for new games coming. If I were an i5 7600K owner, I'd be pretty annoyed, especially at Intel for keeping i5's at QC w/o HT for so long.

It perhaps proves that the...

The scariest thing for Intel is that they simply can not compete with AMD on price. Their manufacturing technique of single monolithic chips is way more costly than AMDs. AMD being able to use almost...

Vega already was raw horsepower. It was a more powerful card than the 1080 in raw terms. 12Gflops compared to 8. Problem is most things are better optimized for Nvidia architecture.

If AMD wants...

Well they don't make much money off the boxes themselves anyway. So they probably don't see it as much of a loss. Only difference to them is the XBL subscriptions, otherwise the amount they make on...

I was thinking an updated Polaris range instead of Vega. No one can say that Polaris wasn't excellent value when it released. If they could make a RX 680 that's on par with a 1070 for less then...

Good! Hope it can bring down prices. The MX150 is about the same as an 850M. The laptop I bought containing a 850M is 4 years old and MX150 laptops are selling almost for the same price that I paid.
