p5k premium has lots of problems with sataII hdd....

p5k premium has lots of problems with sataII hdd. Only seagate drive work properly, had to buy a sata PCI card to get my samsung drive to work.

Wierd, can't see how which slot's the RAM are placed in can affect the CPU speed. Maybe a faulty motherboard.

What have you set the DRAM frequency to in the bios?

Are you referring to the core speed box when you say 1200Mhz? Go into the bios and disable Intel SpeedStep tech and then it should show...

Ever thought about just sticking a switch in for the ground line so you can change between 0V and 5V. Get silence when ur not under heavy load, then switch it up when you need some extra cooling!
