That's cool but personally I'd rather they focus on energy efficiency and improved GPU performance so during game workloads there's more power to share between them and you're getting more fps/watt....

That's pretty insane. Outside of cost, with the amount of memory it can provide (24GB is more than enough for modern needs) and the pure bandwidth it could actually make for an entire system memory...
