What I can say of Win 8 so far. it picks up my hardware easy peasy and gets drivers for it.

old PCI wireless G card? No problem.
GTX 670? nvidia drivers...

IDK the braiding on the AX series look stellar. It may not need it. NZXT are kind enough to include an 8-pin extension which is individually sleeved.

Current build has 2x caviar blacks (striped) but a previous build (w/ a conroe CPU) had a seagate HDD and I have been using their Ext HDD for a while, no such issues.
