MSi GTX 660 Ti Problem

My MSi GTX 660 Ti is not recognized by my Asus P8z77v lk mobo. The only way it works is if I place it into the second pci express slot. sometimes when i boot up my computer it doesn't display right...

Weird Question, I know.

I am currently using a Corsair 600T case and it comes with two removable hard drive cages drive bays which holds up to three SSD's or HDD's in each cage. I have one SSD and one HDD in my tower atm....
