One purchase and a few upcoming projects.
Purchase - Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer Reason - I want to explore 3D printing, and hopefully it will present some creative modding opportunities. Should make for a good medium-term tinker project. The Ender 3 has a lot of fan support, so it should make getting into 3D printing easy. It probably won't be long before some of my D&D buddies want to try making miniatures. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/00...g?v=1576807334 Project 1 - New Office Rig I received this beautiful case last week (from JamesRiley94) during CES. It will become the home of the OC3D news rig, and hopefully, I will be able to think of some creative mods to add some extra flair to the system. Step 1 may be the addition of a PSU Shroud. https://i.imgur.com/XdeZhOa.jpg Project 2 - Home Server I'll be honest. I've had the parts sitting around for this for months. I hope to start the build process soon. A lot of factors have kept me busy recently. I hope to get this to run FreeNAS and act as a plex media server and general file server. Hopefully saying all this here will help get me started. |

Idea for you, As you now have access to a 3D printer, How about eventually making OC3D items ? You could have them as an extra source of income for the channel or to buy new things for your office, Stuff like OC3D coasters, OC3D keychains etc... would be immense and I'd definitely buy a few ^_^ |
Man I'm so stoked you got that case.
Good on you, I really hope you do a log for us. We need more of that man. |
As Alien said really glad the case went to someone within OC3D it was good of James to do that and yes please to a build log!

I'm like you, would prefer air cooling but the aesthetic always puts me off so stick with the H115 |

At around $10 means I don't have to worry so much with these kind of tests. https://i.imgur.com/qxHklVC.gif Interesting how Vcore drops to around base clock voltage before getting to 2V. Similar with Vcache and VSA. DIO is stranger though. |
