Not sure if that was sarcastic, but SEGA has been in the strategy genre for a while now.

I'm old, I still have the SEGA name firmly associated with long-dead consoles. :D

Yeah. SEGA is the publisher behind the Total War series. I know what you mean though, SEGA isn't a brand that makes me think strategy. Sonic perhaps, but not Strategy.

I'm honestly just surprised they are still around :D

But they do have some good studios behind them. CA and Amplitude are solid studios and make good games.
