Asus Vivobook laptop - Installing another RAM
 
Hello again, My sissy has an Asus Vivobook laptop with 4 GB DDR4 2400MHz SDRAM Onboard memory, I bought another ram card yesterday from an online shop with the same amount of 4GB memory but I noticed it has different speed (aprx. 2666MHz) do I need to worry about installing it since it has different speeds? What are the cons and pros of mixing rams with different speeds?

RAM sticks can run at speeds that are lower than their listed speeds, so you can run this RAM at 2400MHz with no problems.

Depending on the CPU that you use, your notebook may be limited to 2400MHz speeds anyway.

You will be fine installing it, but you will have to set them to the same speeds (2400MHz).
