OK build nearly done, first ever btw. Two modular power cables required, 6 pin both ends. The two supplied have correct for psu end..other end is split 6+2..am presuming the six connector is fine. The 2 pin seperate bit just has two black wires on it.

My motherboard only has a 4pin 12v support input but psu has 8 pin out put. As long as yellow wires at top and black at bottom will it be ok to plug just haf of it in?
