i just installed speedfan on my pc to monitor the temps and have noticed my cpu temp jumping from 50 to 80c with nothing happening in the background to cause it. the system is at stock, i also installed pc probe to double check and it says the same thing. now if i reboot it sits there at 49-50c...

right i have an intel 930 cpu, a gig of team extreem ddr2 800 and a crap biostar pt890 775 se mobo (pt =piece of trash). can anyone recommend a good budget overclocking mobo that isnt as crap as this biostar one cheers

do the newer 24 pin mobos need all 24 pins or can you just plug the 20 pin connector in like you could in the earlier ones thanks
