A lot of hopes riding on this. Like, "let's hope they don't butcher it with microtransactions" and "let's hope they don't ruin what made the original so great". Ubisoft should thread carefully. Can they even afford to mess this up?
Yeah, as much as I'd like to build a new system, I'm not doing that until RAM prices are back to normal. A shame really, since I'm stuck on AM4 with DDR4 for the foreseeable future.
Yeah, the Pentagon needs it to target schools in the Middle East more efficiently. Only 200 schoolgirls blown to smithereens in Iran is a rookie number in the AI racket. They gotta pump those numbers up.
It's good that they are still working on optimizing the game. Should have thought about it before release, though. Also, I don't think that lumen really adds much, if anything, to a game like Borderlands, so maybe they shouldn't have used that performance hog.
It's worth remembering that it's only a demo for unreleased piece of software that's coming out at the end of the year. I'm excited for the possibilities.
