I think WYP is referring to the motherboard they also released when he mentions the cables. It has the BTF slot for the card to hide the graphics power cables, but all the other connectors are on the visible side of the motherboard. So you hide one cable, but all the rest are still visible.
I have no faith in ASRock. Every board I've purchased from them or worked with on customer systems has been junk. From entry level to their high-end boards, always had issues.
Linux does the same crap. /looks at Centos.
I may be bitter because every time we roll out new PCs at work we get the same users complaining that the new systems are so much slower than the old. If that were the case the current i5 systems with 20 cores and 32GB of ram would be slower than...
Yep I have and definitely use those. Doesn't help for the forstner bits though for what I do. On 3/4" stock it does work out to using the top of the bit itself as a guide for depth when doing hinges. A drill press would just make it easier and make it perfectly straight.
Excellent idea with the magnets, that'll look great and make it feel premium. I use forstner bits mainly for euro style hinges on cabinets. Sucks lining them up perfect with a hand drill though. I make do, but I need to add a drill press to my shop... one day!
I'd assume these would have some added enterprise features like PLP and higher endurance with at least 1 DWPD for the rated life, but that's still overpriced. I had switched from buying QNAP a number of years back and had settled on Synology, but that's probably going to change again. Offering...
I don't have a MIG, but just another reason not to purchase a switch 2. Maybe when some games are out and they release the OLED version....that ToS really irks me though.
Hadn't heard of SlimSAS before, had to look it up. Supports breakout cables like on an HBA. Weird that secure erase wouldn't work. I'd assume it's all the same protocol being used, just a different connector.
