Be gentle please bit of a noob when it comes to memory, my motherboard says it only supports upto 1333mhz ram if I use 1600mhz will it work I've read some sites saying yes but thought I'd ask here. Thanks

Gonna be building a new system pretty soon (build log will be posted on here) just wondering what would be better for gaming and a bit of video editing and 3d rendering, an i5 2500 and gtx 560 or an i7 2600 and gtx 460
