Borderlands 2 is now available for free on Steam

I bet this is just a ploy to drum up some hype for Borderlands 4 following Randy Pitchford's comments about the price they're going to be charging for it. I genuinely hope it all fails just so it explodes in his face.

GameStop promise replacements after retail staff staples Switch 2 screens

Oof to any one who's had this happen to them. I just hope all those units don't end up in landfill; screen replacements won't be too hard to an experienced technician so they can all be salvaged. If this is something in the way of tagging pre-order stock to ensure all customers get the kit...

007 First Light is coming to PC and consoles in 2026

I'm with you on that. Ever since seeing it something has just felt off about it. It looks like it's going to play like a cross between Hitman and Uncharted with a 007 skin on the top; well, it looks like that to me at least. I think it will be a good game in itself, but a good 007 game? Not so...

Thermal Grizzly "fixes" 12VHWR with its WireView PRO II connector

My reaction to this can easily be summed up by this: I agree with Mark's last sentence about the fact that this only exists because of the inherent issues with this new connector. Granted, Thermal Grizzly don't design and spec it out, and I will admit, auto shut down is a welcome thing to...

    Kitchen Flooring

Not all ovens are hard wired, my oven is just a simple 13A plug and it's a built in double oven. I think it primarily depends on whether it's a free standing one with a built in hob as I swear at my parent's house when I was a teenager, their oven—a single built in one—was also a 13A plug as...

    Kitchen Flooring

At least the oven won't move anywhere, my parents could do with that for their washing machine, haha. Are you planning on getting rid of the oven as part of a full new kitchen or just a new oven? My dishwasher was nearly like your oven where the back feet are on the bare concrete floor but the...

    Kitchen Flooring

There is a special circle of hell dedicated to people who install kitchens with integrated appliances, but only tile the floor to the front of the cupboards rather than wall to wall. The sheer absolute nightmare it was to remove my old knackered dishwasher and install a new one turned what...

Nintendo to launch Switch 2 on June 5th - Here's what you need to know

UK pricing is apparently £395 for the console and £429 with Mario Kart World according to the BBC. I'm a little disappointed there wasn't much on the JRPG front, but I'm probably still going to buy it on launch regardless.

Qualcomm launches new Snapdragon G-series chips for new gaming handhelds

Only problem I can see with these is the game library limitations given that they are ARM based whilst RoG Ally and Steam Deck are x86 which the vast majority of games developed on. That being said, I can see these carving into the handheld emulator market and finding a niche there. Hell, may...

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake launches this summer

God yes. THPS3 is my all time favourite so this is just singing to me. I just hope Bodyjar - Not The Same is still on the soundtrack.

GTA VI is coming to PC in "early 2026" - Corsair claims

Take2/Rockstar will just do what they did with GTA V and RDR 2. Release on consoles, wait for the sales to die down, then release the PC version and watch millions of suckers players double dip.

Nintendo officially unveils their Switch 2 console, and its backwards-compatible

I have both the LCD and OLED switch and I agree with both points. The OLED is only worth the jump if you play it in portable mode on a regular basis. LCD/OLED or no, I'm still buying this at launch, I don't care. I bought the original Switch at launch and I do not regret it one bit.

Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Aye. It's nuts that people shell that much when you can get decent enough new sticks like the 8BitDo ones for something like £15/$20 which will probably last long enough that by the time you've spent over $250 on them that you're probably pushing up daisies at that point. The steel bowl...

Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Beyond the replacement sticks 8BitDo and others make; there are other projects out there trying to make truly long-life or borderline indestructible gears and bowls so people can still keep the original sticks. I've not personally used them, only replacing one of mine with a standard N64 style...

Switch 2 Details Leak - May be revealed next month

As I called as soon as rumours started that the Switch 2 was going to be a straight hardware upgrade, this will leverage DLSS to its fullest. I do not believe it would be able to run in 4K when docked, except for light games such as Stardew Valley. That being said though, Xenoblade upscaled...
