It's possible with AMD jumping three nodes, but like you say it's a wait and see if it comes to fuition, I really hope AMD can knock it out of the park with Zen 6 though!
30% is nuts, he did say though that he expects around 15% mostly, but up to 30 as like you said it's workload dependent, as they're jumping three nodes to N2X, which is how AMD should be able to get these crazy numbers, and performance.
Just saw the latest info from MLID, so a 10800X3D with 12 cores a 10950X3D with 24 cores with upto a 30% IPC gains, memory support of possibly 8000-10000 with clocks around 7Ghz, late 26 or early 27 and if even close to this, these things are going to be bonkers mental!
Sounds to me like a normal windows = crap :) all jokes aside if you've not done a format in a long time it probably wouldn't hurt to do a full format reinstall, also don't install preview updates, only full release updates for 11 as they tend to have less issues.
Look up Synology 100ohm resistor fix and you'll find heaps of horror stories, it's crazy mostly around the models like mine that were running Atom chips.
TBH I wish I never bought my 415+ it's killed 4 drives and had to be fixed as it had an issue that made it useless, and they knew about it and never issued a recall just silently extended the warranty a bit, I'll never buy or recommend Synology to anyone!
TBH I don't think anyone cares that it's GDDR-6 it's more the fact of Nvidia continuing to be stingy Aholes and not giving 12GB whilst still charging too much for the POS!
