Reminds me of the Pentium 3 and 4 days. AMD was faster with games, until the Core series came out from Intel. Only difference now is Intel had the server market for years that kept them going. Gaming sales were big, but nothing like it is today.

I will be curious to see what the AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 can do. It would be a good productivity upgrade and less finicky when not turning off part of the CPU when trying to get the best gaming performance.
