    Info on extra chip (6800XT)

    Hi guys, I've just removed the heatsink from my XFX 6800XT to prepare for conversion to water cooling, and discovered an extra little chip hiding beneath it (lower left). Could anyone tell me what it is? Specifically what kind of cooling it needs. As you can see from the outline, it isn't on...

    Peltier on waterblock

    I've just bought a watercooling kit from eBay, and it comes with an extra northbridge waterblock which I don't intend to use. I was wondering about having it outside the case, with a Peltier attached (~100W - with suitable heatsink/fan of course). Do you think this is worth doing? Anybody...

    My current rig

    Hello everyone, I'm Dave, 19, and currently at university (coming home next week though :D) I built my pc from scratch a few years ago, and can't resist modding things. I've just bought a water cooling kit, so you can expect a few questions from me in the near future :rolleyes:
