Acer And Vista
i boot up, it wont post, because i have usb things in the usb ports, i then get the screen "vista did not boot up properly last time" ...well, no it didnt, because it died, and crashed, and rebooted, and wouldnt boot up, because of usb items in the usb ports, then i wait til that goes past, then frantically scramble behind the pc, and plug in the usb, as the vista bar goes across, only to find that it refuses to work with it, the mouse works, but the keyboard doesnt, i then go to install zonealarm, and it makes the whole pc crash and burn...
ARGH ...I'VE JUST HAD ENOUGH OF THIS

it will have to do, i have no money....not at the moment

Do you have the Zone Alarm compatible with Vista which is a beta?
I'd stay away from ZA until they release a stable final version for Vista.
Try leaving the keyboard and mouse out until you get to vista logon screen. Then plug them in once ur there and wait for 30seconds.

tbh, i couldnt find the vista version, but i now know not to install the XP version, kinda fatal, ...goes for XP version of most things it seems
and i have to plug them in, after post, but just 2 seconds before the vista green bars fly across the screen, or it wont recognise it...even then, only one in 2 or 3 times does it recognise both...
useless piece of software
useless piece of hardware too

it crashes for me, when i try and install my webcam drivers, they're xp versions, because there are no vista versions (DAMN YOU CREATIVE), or zonealarm ....which again, is xp,
folding doesnt work...well, no, it does, but it wont boot up in the background, i have to use it as a program on the front
and then it crashes if i try to do too much too
