Sparkle Add A New Twist To GPU Thermal Monitoring
It seems that all or a majority of Sparkle's future gaming-oriented graphics cards will support real-time thermal monitoring - which means taking the Nvidia CP out of the equation. Novelty or genuine tool? Feel free to comment below...

Looks like a good idea, but there are a few applications out there that monitor cpu and gpu temperature side-by-side so I don't know how much use it will be.

Dam good idea if its accuret. But lets hope it dosn't hinder any aftermarket coolers that may come along.

I love the idea!

Much better than haveing to alt - tab out of a game to find out the GPU temp!

Rofl, use RivaTuners temp monitor, it logs temps in a graph for you no matter what youre doing so you can check what they peaked at after youve finished playing

I remember getting the old Sparkle S3 Virge cards years ago, cheapest ones out.

The idea of having a thermal monitor on the card is cool, altho it might be a better idea to make a drive bay mountable one for people who don't have or want a window on the side of their case? altho maybe that could be an idea for a mod already.

What card is that? says DX10, but it actually looks a decent size as it is not massive

It looks like the LCD unplugs, so it wouldn't be hard to run some wires to a bay.
