Microsoft Announces 512MB Memory Unit For Xbox 360

Today, Microsoft released plans at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2007, that they intend to launch a 512MB memory unit for the Xbox 360 game console and increase the official size limit of Xbox LIVE Arcade games from 50MB to 150MB. Will this make the console more appealing to the masses?

TBH I was thinking of getting one anyway as Im getting miffed with upgrading the PC all the time to keep up with games.

Only thing is I cant play FPS without a keyboard and mouse and all I play is FPS really.If they did a keyboard/mouse plugin for the 360 Id get a console.

Cool is that RAM or just memory like the xbox savegame memory?

If it's just memory, doesn't the xbox360 use usb like the xbox only with a different connector? so you could adapt a lead to take a 4gb usb flashdrive

just like on the xbox (also would be a lot cheaper than the official memory)
