8800GTX Sli and sound issues

Guys

U may have read on XS of people experiencing sound issues when running 8800GTX in Sli....well. If anyone else on here is considering a move to Sli on a 680i based motherboard it looks like there is a solution (if u use Asus boards). I flashed my BIOS to version 0901 today and it has resolved the crackling I used to get in BF2142.

I am a happy man.

i get crack now and then while loading bf 2142 do you get that too ?

Not any more with new BIOS which had an x-fi patch listed in its fixes.

Did it say what the fix was ? or just that they fixed it ?

was a x-fi driver issue...at a bios level. It has deffo sorted my problem out....which was an annoying crackling when loading into bf2142 and also in-game when things were getting hot....

Hmm I was wondering if they`d said any specifics coz u hear a number of peoples saying crackle&creative but not necessarily ASUS mobos >.<
