Taking pictures at 32x your monitors resolution is gonna be nuts !

I'd think it as pointless. It's not like you could take advantage of seeing the extra pixels at 32x and in addition it's being scaled, so it's not like it would good as native. Unless i'm wrong here and someone would like to point out what i'm missing about it.

AFAIK the reason for the obscene resolution and EXR capture is so you can get into the knitty gritty with photoshop and various other image editing software to get a really polished look if that's your cup of tea

So it just allows you to take a very high res software scaled picture, then lets you export to OpenEXR/PS and let's you basically make it more "native"(if thats the right word, i'm not a photo guy at all) i'd guess?
