I fine mod chips very very clever hardware.
I have never used one, but one day in the futur I may.
I have read about them and they are just amazing.

hmmm, maybe having backups is legal, but i'm sure there is something along the line that is illigal. Such as the modchip.

Only illegal when you start passing backup disks around actually. Which is why these modchips continue to come out. I've modded a few Xbox1's for anythign from backup games to one guy wanted a 400gb harddrive which he filled with movies from blockbuster (a unlimited rental pass :P)

i modded my xbox 1 for xbmc, brilliant software. It just needs tv recoring features. Maybe they will come when iptv comes along.
