Hopefully they get performance optimization correct this time. Past two titles (Rome2/Attila) we're not as good as could be. They are putting out 1080/60fps vids on YT now which could suggest they got it right this time
But yeah the reason I'm so excited is because of the change of scenery into the fantasy world despite knowing little about Warhammer

Yeah, my warhammer knowledge is very basic. Have only played a few random board games that are in the universe.
Total War has never been great for optimization at launch. Empire was a travesty, Napoleon and Shogun were alright, but Rome and Attilla really needed a bit more work before launch.
Rome had too many issues, especially for multi GPU users.
Attila performance at launch wasn't bad at all. After drivers came out is was pretty good however the only issue was even a TX/FX could not get over 60fps maxed in the benchmark which many people took as a sign of bad optimization but in battle and campaign it wasn't bad. Just like every other TW it's once many units are on the field it gets bad.
I just hope they get multiple GPUs done right. It would help alleviate a lot of issues with performance
