any chance of getting retail copies added into the deal?
oem ones are too limited for me when it comes to hardware changes and transferring to new systems

Nope, this distributor only deals in OEM. And having an OEM version will not affect any of the afformentioned items.

Note that the OEM versions of Windows Vista still forbid license transfers.

Unfortunately OEM copies won't get the same liberties. These installations of Vista will still be restricted to only one transferal or one major upgrade to your machine.

OEM licenses still different
It bears repeating, however, the the OEM license that comes with Vista is indeed similar to the Windows XP OEM license in that it forbids any kind of transfer. As we have previously reported, users have nevertheless had success transferring those copies of Windows, but they are technically stepping outside of the bounds of the EULA when doing so.

I thought we had a HUGE debate on this when MS did a 180 and said that they were now going to let you reinstall an infinite amount of times and make as many hardware changes as you please???

Yeah, I've never once had a problem with it. This sounds more like a scare tactic on MS's part than anything else TBH.
