We have just gotten a look at the ASUS ROG Maximus Formula VIII, with the best implementation of RGB LEDS we have ever seen on a motherboard. This is RGB Done Right!

Well I think I need to change my underwear now! Loving the Qcode lighting change. Small feature that is normally overlooked. Time for an upgrade I think!!!!!

Hold the RGB phone just one moment!

EK blocks as standard on a mass production board. This is a lot of win. With some graphics cards to cover up the huge expanse of injection molded plastic that is great.

(MSI U JUST GOT REKT, sorry, but come on, that is many levels of legit and kind of exactly what you just attempted, maybe get in touch with Aseteks lawyers)

...very nice power/reset buttons too.

Now that is what the market needs. Personally, the lighting traces over the plastic covers are not my thing, but they're got the colour scheme down perfectly!

Now all I need to know is... does it do white lights?

OMG WTF BBQ!

Just when i said to myself im happy with my PC i wont upgrade till new GPU's come out, and then BAAMM Asus want my money again, that is possibly the best looking Maximus ive seen in a long time!

Astonishingly beautiful!

As MrKambo says, OMG!

I'll go further by saying they should have made the Sabertooth/Formulas like this from the start! ;)

that is pretty piece of kit. i would def say i am an asus motherboard fanboy but even if i wasnt i would say the same thing. i never liked the sabretooth tuf armor but this is glorious. plus the rgbness just takes it to another level. and ek cooling built in. i would put in the eye pop emote but i cant be bothered. much love for this board. now only if they were to bring forth a r5e black rgb edition. my life would be complete.

Breathtaking. Will be much too expensive for the likes of me, but for those who can afford one will open up more color options for sure.

Sorry maybe the only one i just don't get RGB lighting on a motherboard it's just another way for companies to jack the prices up even higher i really don't want to know the price of this motherboard when it comes in stock here.

I like the EK bits. I wonder if they'll make a CPU block to match? Will look like full cover then. RGB looks a bit meh tbh but maybe if I see it in the flesh it might look better. It's hard to tell from the pics.
