DIY : LCD Fan controler

i got a dt prodject that i am doing at the moment a front bay fan controler have compleated the electronics and heres the start of the case



here is the circuit diagram simple but affective

ohh by the way i just noticed the bottom variable resister is ment to be 1m also

You should right a guide on how to do all this once your done.

yea i will keep you posted and you can display what you want on the lcd from cpu temps winamp stuff ram usage game stats ect

Definitly. Are you an electronically literit person? Do you know how to make a simple circuit that when on reads the temperature from a K type probe and shows it on a either LCD or one of those single digit (would have to be then stacked for 3 digits worth)/

how will is interface with the pc, usb? You created any drivers for it?

lol i am only 17

i am not that good at electronics i understand quite a few things like pics and logic simple stuff like that but i by no way am i an electronic engeneer i plan to wire it up to the paralel port and use a program like lcd smarty or crystal fonts to dispaly the information on a hyachi display
