So Cold

It is so cold here, I mean I have never experienced a winter like this in So Cal in my whole life. Went in a friends jacuzzi last night and got out at around 11PM and the water, that had splashed over, was freezing on the ground.

I hope that snow moves towards me in St. Thomas (near London). We haven't had a good dump of snow in a while.

I went to northern lapland last year and went for a cross mountain trek in minus 30*C and about 6 ft visibility. I also lost my wallet with several hundred pounds and all my travel insurance bits a few hours after arriving. I walked three quarters of the way up the Olympic slope (54 degrees incline - took about 2 hours) in ski boots trying to find it. The girl I was with had to send a man on a snowmobile to bring me back- now THAT was cold

(turned out my wallet had been found and turned in, with all the contents, an hour previous
