Whyyyyy, whyyyy the red feet? At what point in the developing process did they decide that red feet make this case go faster?

I am legitimately getting sick of that habit of slapping red on all black PC components 'cause it looks cool'.

I had one of the last ones in black and it was far too plain for something so curvy/stealthy.

Mind you saying that it actually looked like it was made out of raw plastic too and unfinished.

With a paint job (even in flat black) it would have looked miles better. Not one of the better cases I've ever had but if you could get it all in there it did look OK I guess and the cooling was top notch.

Would be nice if they were fully removable so you could paint them yourself.

It's like I said though, they're probably just desperately trying to make it look less plain. The plastic they use is the cheap shiny stuff.

I'd love to see this thing completely covered in that soft touch stuff. Then you'd be cooking.

Yeah or what about after market parts where you can just buy them and they could do like 5 or 6 different colours

what have they done to the raven... the 01 was great 02-04 was terrible imo and the 05 is really good again. But that... it's really not that well looking, that beluga.

I think people have just gone off the honking great Alienware clones dude. Even Alienware themselves have drastically cut down the size of their own Area 51.

The Raven I had was actually quite small. It just about wrapped itself around an ATX board and the cable management was an absolute pig. It took me two days and I had to physically cut off two SATA runs (non modular PSU) to get it all in there.

The Raven I had actually felt like a prototype. The plastic was literally just cheap molded plastic and had a really raw finish to it. As soon as you touched it it was finger print heaven too.

I guess they're just trying to make them to a price really.

The one thing you can say about these Raven cases have really good pricing now compare to the older ones from years ago.

Yes definitely but the problem is the spec has been massively cut dude. Seriously, they don't even look finished they are so cheaply made. The side panels flex and warp and are a real sod to get in place and the plastic front and top just look like unfinished parts.

If you took one and corrected all of those issues though? it would look really nice. It's a lovely shape.
