Scythe Announces New 40mm Fan
Scythe has just announced a new 40mm fan for quiet performance, recommended as a chipset fan replacement. Check out the specs in the news article...

I like Scythe stuff and the 40mm is cool for small places but 4CFM is a little light in the CFM dept. The 40s I use are 6CFM and up, but you have to be careful not to get 5000-6000 RPM ones (little noisy)

Eh, if i go with any new chipset cooling it will be a low profile copper cooler or a Thermaltake SpiritII. My current chipset HSF dosent accept another fan (DFI lol) and i dont feel like putting a crappier regular black HS on it.

On my *dead* P5B I've got a Swifty MCX solid copper block on the NB which is by far the most awesome cooler I've seen for NB cooling. And I've got an Extreme Spirit 2 on the SB, also another nice cooler but the mounting system is a bit wonky. The Swifty is much more solid.

Can you replace the fan on the Spirit2? I havent looked into it and the blue LEDs are annoying.
