my psu = dead again

my second ST60F is dead, newegg has offered me a refund, of course i took it. just wondering what PSU i should get now, modular is prefered, and above 500W. i have looked @ the psu reviews h/e just wanted everyones opinion.

Go for one of the OCZs IMO, not modular but price/performance wise theyre the king.

2nd one ? Another ST60F ? I`m supprized. These things can happen tho, especially if both came from the same source. Bad batch etc. (some would call that shoddy)

It could actually be your electricity supply, you may need to invest in some sort of surge protector. I'd prob go for a UPS though as they offer better results.

i do have a surge protector, paid 50 dollars for it h/e it was bought at wal-mart so dont know how good it really is.

I'd chose the Corsair HX over the Seasonic. They are essentially the same PSU but I found the modular system on the Corsair to be slightly more robust.
