Sound/Graphic Stutter?
I am getting a sound/graphic stutter in all games now..
Its it overclocking related? Or have a mucked up a driver or something?
Any help would be welcome!

Are you overclocking and using onboard sound? If so, that'll do it.

Yeah that`ll do it.
To be fair though, 50 million things can make u`r pc do that, a small list of which being:-
a] Not enough memory/swap memory. (doubtful cos this is an "all-of-a-sudden" thing - unless u`r swap/pagefile has had to move cos it`s usual drive is too full).
b] Problem with u`r memory. (bad writes making u`r pc write a number of times to memory before it gets a good write).
c] Fragged drives. (up the ying-yang, don`t underestimate de-fragging)
d] OS installed on same drive as games, and something is running whilst u`r playing. (check something hasn`t installed itself in u`r desktop background, say in the last couple of days)
e] Drivers for loads of things acting up.
... frankly the list goes on.

I am overclocking but not onboard sound.. EWWW I hate onboard..
I find that it happens just before the next bit in a level.. Like the next objective or when something big happens, like a tank going KaBoom!

sorry to highjack, but i had this problem with my 9600pro and changing to a ti4400 the problem went away. I also have it on my dads laptop with ati mobile graphics set to 128mb. his comp has 768mb total and a sempron 2800+. in both cases it ONLY occured in half life 2, any of the 3dmarks, doom3, any other games no stuttering. neither oced.

Has this happened suddenly or has it always hapened? You have 2gb RAM ye?
You haven't changed the HDD swap file or perhaps put the settings up a bit too high have you?
