Hey guys,

I made this great PC Rig from PCPartPicker. I want the community to see what their thoughts are about this gaming rig. It comes without Windows as I'll be using a USB flash drive to install it.

I see a few problems

Gaming rig /= i7 first and foremost imo. I'd change that to an i5.
Personally I'd get a 290x as that's the same price for slightly more/ the same performance.
the HDDs are pretty basic. I'd swap those out with money saved from the cuts I suggested.
I'd also change the PSU to an RM650.

-edit- here is what I created. I left the DVD drive in even though you don't need it. I also left your case choice although I'd personally look at something else.

The i7 is worth it if you do alot of video editing otherwise its not really worth it. Hardly any game uses the i7s non physical cores.

Also, where are you? Obviously if its being bought in the UK it'll be a completely different (and less powerful) beast.

You missed his location?

(speaking of which, can you shorten that please, it's kinda playing mayhem with the layout) (are you on the Frontier forums? i've seen that EXACT location used on there as well)
