Help with a new PC in small case

Hello, I will start with telling you guys how i lost my computer. I've built some decent computer for my self like 3 years ago with an i5, asus gtx 760 TOP in pretty fractal core 3000 and it was sufficient for me since i don't need highest graphic settings but then my girlfriend convinced me to move to London so my desktop had to stay home and for last 10 months i've been using her "crappy" laptop with an i7 and 6GB of ram but integrated graphics so all i can do is browse the net, watch some films and increase my steam games collection without playing anything.
Recently i started thinking about building something new but we are strapped for space and money so i was thinking about Fractal Design node 605 because it will stay on desk and i will put my monitor on it.

Price tag is i think around 600 pounds (it all depends on how many hours i can work in next couple of weeks) case is not included in it because it will be a gift from my better half. I don't need a monitor and a mouse since i brought my g500 with me.

Please if someone could suggest to me what components to pick and if that case is not too small.

Thank you kindly !

Thank you, but i don't know why i don't trust AMD. If i would get a bit more money what should i be looking to spend it on ?

You'll be getting a 760 instead then. Its slower as well. Why do you not 'trust' AMD?
I have no idea, i've always used Intel and nvidia but i will trust opinion of those who know more. It still is a couple of weeks away so i have time to make up my mind. If i would have a bit more money what should i upgrade ? I'm afraid that this case may be too small and get too hot inside ? There is no way for proper cable managment but i have no idea what else could i pick hence the lack of space.

it'll get cosy inside there but as long as you make sure the airflow is the best it can be you'll be alright.
