A new level of Immersive Gaming

Read this article and wondered how you guys feel about it. Personally, I think it is too expensive to catch on but is still a cool idea.

" With a bank of high-power LEDs, a few purring fans, some speakers and a rumbling keyboard rest, amBX aims to extend your experiences beyond the screen and into the air around you."

Check it out Here

np, I thought it was kinda neat because I had a similar experience while playing F.E.A.R. Of course I don't have the amBX, but I was playing at night during the summer so I had a fan on full blast pointing at me which made it pretty cold. It made the game that much more spooky, especially because I didn't realize it was the fan until I paused the game for a bathroom break lol.

I wonder how no one thought about it before...

Im Waiting for the Smell stuff... Something that makes the smell of whats on screen.

I ahs been done in the US. So like in oblivion in the forest it smells llovly and flowery but in Oblivion is Smells hot an like burning...

It has been done I read about it. It was tested in cinemas but didn't go down well. Becasue of some of the horrid smells

Looks cool. Flashing likes could be weird.. Like the phillips HD Tv that has just come out...

Agreed with Kemp here, it seems a little gimmicky to me. Although I'm sure there is a market there for peeps who have too much cash and too little imagination
