What's a good backup program?

Want a simple backup program to use with my parents external hard drive.

They want one that does it all in the background so they don't have to get involved.

Should be able to make, say 10 backups, and then replace the oldest one once it gets up to 10.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

One of the reasons I hesitate to install 2k3 but as Dav0s has pointed out, the pros of using 2k3 greatly outweigh the cons.
